Kelly McKinley
Biography
Kelly McKinley is tasked with the comprehensive management and coordination of ITI and CIRI research initiatives. Her responsibilities encompass administrative, operational, financial, and contractual oversight of these projects. Kelly acts as a key intermediary between principal investigators, research teams, and both sponsors and stakeholders. Her duties include tracking and reporting on project progress, financial conditions, and compliance with scheduled tasks, milestones, and deliverables. Additionally, she is responsible for preparing and submitting reports to DHS, fostering communication with project stakeholders, and coordinating research team involvement in DHS-backed workshops and conferences.
Prior to joining ITI, Kelly served as Coordinator of Research Programs at the Beckman Institute, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Parkland College and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Illinois University. She is also an Illinois Certified Research Administrator.
