Biography

Comert received the Ph.D. degree in civil engineering from University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC in 2008. He is currently an associate professor in physics and engineering department at Benedict College, Columbia, SC. He works on intelligent transportation systems particularly on connected vehicles, resilient transportation networks, and statistical modeling of different problems for traffic signals and freeway monitoring.
