The Chicago Tribune consulted with Jana Sebestik, TCIPG's Education Coordinator and College of Education Assistant Director of STEM Curriculum Design, on a feature about the use of the Minecraft video game in K12 education. Sebestik and her team have created a Minecraft world in which students can explore cyber challenges and the power grid. TCIPG anticipates releasing more information soon on how schools can use the TCIPG Minecraft Power World in their classrooms.
