J. Peter Brady
Student Researcher
Dartmouth College
J. Peter Brady is a Ph.D. student of Computer Science at Dartmouth College, advised by Dr. Sean Smith and Dr. Sergey Bratus. His research interests include securing “data conduits,” communications channels
that computer systems use to interact with other devices. As new devices connect to the Internet, particularly the specialized embedded devices in the Internet of Things (IoT), current security methods will
not be enough to stem the large numbers of attacks against them. Peter received his BSEE from Clarkson University in 1978 and his MSEE from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2014. Prior to joining Dartmouth, he was a Senior Principal Software Engineer for BAE
Systems.
