Pacific Northwest Energy Stakeholders join November Industry Workshop
The workshop included panel discussions, featured speakers, two research project showcases, and a tour of PNNL’s Systems Engineering Building (SEB) and Electricity Infrastructure Operations Center (EIOC). Archives from the industry workshop are now available online.
The event took place at PNNL’s Electricity Infrastructure Operations Center (EIOC) in the Systems Engineering Building (SEB) and hosted 82 participants representing a variety of occupations, including industry, academia, utilities, the U.S. Department of Energy, and local law enforcement agencies.
The Cyber Resilient Energy Delivery Consortium (CREDC) is working to improve the resilience and security of cyber networks that serve as the backbone of energy delivery infrastructure – also known as energy delivery systems (EDS) – particularly in the electric grid and oil & gas sectors. CREDC is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Electricity Delivery & Energy Reliability and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Science & Technology Directorate. Consortium partners include: University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Argonne National Laboratory, Arizona State University, Dartmouth College, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Old Dominion University, Oregon State University, the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Rutgers University, Tennessee State University, the University of Houston, and Washington State University.
